Eddie O’Shea sat comfortably in 11th spot just behind his Junior Talent Team teammate as the session drew to a close, but a flying lap from Adrian Cruces bumped the Brit down to 12th place on the grid in Barcelona.

Fresh from a stunning podium performance in Portimao, Tatchakorn Buasri found himself in Qualifying 1 with work to do to bag a Q2 spot. The Thai rider finished 2nd in Q1 to bag himself a Q2 position and rounded the session in P18.
The focus now shifts to race day for the JTT riders as they face two 15-lap races at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. The first race of the day for the FIM Junior GP will kick off at 11:00 (GMT +2) with race 2 at 14:00 on Sunday.
