Anticipation and expectation after an excellent qualifying display from the Junior Talent Team at MotorLand Aragon
The Junior Talent Team (JTT) is ready for race day in Round 4 of the FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship after a strong performance in qualifying, with the stage set at MotorLand Aragon.
In the JuniorGP™ class, Veda Pratama set the benchmark and will take P9 on the grid after a blistering lap time of 1:57.959. His JTT teammate Zen Mitani wasn’t far behind and will start from P11, showing tremendous perseverance to battle through Qualifying 1. Kiattisak Singhapong took P15, while Lucas Brown was unfortunate not to be able to get out of what proved a tough Q1 session. The hunt is on tomorrow as the Junior Talent Team riders look to keep building on what has been an impressive showing so far this season.
Race 1 in JuniorGP™ is scheduled for 11:00 local time (UTC+2) with riders having another shot at glory in Race 2, with lights out at 14:00 (UTC+2).
In the European Talent Cup (ETC), Kiandra Ramadhipa delivered a sensational qualifying lap to seal P4 on the grid. Meanwhile, after a tough session, Alfonsi Daquigan will aim to qualify in the Last Chance Race on Sunday morning.
The ETC riders will only have one opportunity to put points on the board in Aragon, with the sole race to take place at 13:00 (UTC+2).
As ever, the Junior Talent Team is raring to go.
