The Junior Talent Team exceeded expectations at Round 4 of the FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship in Aragon and head to Misano with both points and experience in their pocket
There were two races for the Junior Talent Team (JTT) to tackle in JuniorGP™ and they delivered under the scorching Aragonese sun at MotorLand Aragon.
In Race 1, Veda Pratama demonstrated why he’s such a hot prospect with a season-best finish of P6. Zen Mitani also showed real consistency throughout to seal P12. Not far behind was Kiattisak Singhapong who claimed P15, doing so from the back of the grid after a penalty. Lucas Brown, meanwhile, garnered valuable experience and finished P23.
Pratama competed at the front once again in Race 2, eventually crossing the finish line in P8. Mitani – improving significantly on his previous result – came in just behind in P9 following an assured ride. Singhapong also grew into proceedings, finishing P14, while Lucas Brown was unable to build on his earlier performance and unfortunately didn’t see the chequered flag.
It wasn’t just points that the JTT earned in JuniorGP™ across the two races at MotorLand, it was also valuable understanding for what’s left of the season.
In the European Talent Cup (ETC), Kiandra Ramadhipa was able to achieve a stunning sixth-place finish despite a Long Lap Penalty. It’s a lesson learned and valuable points on the board as he sits in P5 in the Championship. Meanwhile, Alfonsi Daquigan was unlucky not to make it out of the morning’s Last Chance Race, falling just short.
Next up, Misano, and the Junior Talent Team are eager to go full throttle once more and keep putting together performances of this calibre. Until then!
