The final round of the 2023 Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Champioship is about to get under way in Valencia
Another winning season for the Junior Talent Team is about to conclude, with the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia about to bring the curtain down on a history-making 2023 in style. Two more races for the JuniorGP™ class are about to get underway, and that’s two more chances for the 2023 JTT riders to race for the podium.
Tatchakorn Buasri arrives fresh from more Grand Prix experience on home turf in Buriram and will be aiming high, with his 2024 plans – a permanent move to Moto3™ – now confirmed. He has two more chances to get back on the top step or at the very least the podium as he looks to sign off from JTT duty on a high.
Eddie O’Shea will also be aiming for the podium to round out the season, having been on the rostrum before but not yet in 2023. After a tough start to the season plagued by injury, he’s raring to take another top result to better his fifth from Portimao.
Arbi Aditama, like Buasri, also returns from some Grand Prix experience and a seriously impressive showing at that: from 15th on the grid, he only just missed out on points at Mandalika. More points are what he’ll be aiming for in the JuniorGP™ season finale too, with that 25-point haul from a history-making win in Barcelona moving him up the standings but plenty still to play for.
Finally, the last two races of Danial Shahril’s rookie season are another chance for the Malaysian to keep scoring. Impressively consistent with a season best of seventh place and more points finishes than not, the top ten will be his goal to end the year on a high – likewise a season that saw him start two Grands Prix as he gains experience and looks to lay foundations for the future.
