Buasri and O’Shea bag a double Junior Talent Team Top 10

07 May 2023

It was a solid start to 2023 for Buasri and O’Shea as Ezawa and Aditmama rounded out the points

All four Junior Talent Team riders put in strong performances to put points on the board in the opening round Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship. Tatchakorn Buasri had a stunning opener to the race, quickly putting himself in podium contention. A red flag halted proceedings and once action resumed for a 5-lap dash, the #5 would eventually pick up a well-earned P8 and carries confidence and speed to the next round at Valencia.

Eddie O’Shea’s day was one of two halves, he found himself at the lower reaches of the points before the red flag. However, the British Talent team rider, with a punchy ride, produced another Top 10 result with P9, a very good building block to carry forward in 2023 for the Brit.

Shinya Ezawa impressed in his rookie weekend for the Asia Talent Team and replacement for Danial Shahril. The young Japanese rider picked up two points with a hard-fought P14 finish and in doing so showed the potential he has going forward.

Faddilah Arbi Aditama had a slightly more difficult day, after showing great speed throughout the weekend, the Indonesian couldn’t quite convert the speed into a Top 10 in the race. However, the #93 will take solace in knowing the speed can be unlocked and that he returns to a circuit in two weeks where he scored his maiden point in 2022.

The Circuit Ricardo Tormo on May 21st plays host to Round 2 as the Junior Talent Team will be ready to take on the iconic Valencia circuit!
