The Indonesian superstar-in-the-making starts in P10 just ahead of former ATC rival Zen Mitani

The Junior Talent Team (JTT) are ready, set, go for the opening races of the FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship after strong qualifying sessions in both JuniorGP™ and the European Talent Cup despite difficult conditions to get to grips with at the Circuito do Estoril.

Oozing confidence, 2023 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) winner Veda Pratama made a great start to his debut JuniorGP™ campaign despite an early setback in Practice to battle through Q1, eventually securing the top qualifying position of any JTT rider: P10. Zen Mitani – who won the IATC in 2024 – wasn’t far behind, and will start from P11.

Despite their best efforts, the rain in Estoril got the best of the JTT’s Kiattisak Singhapong and Lucas Brown, who will begin their JuniorGP™ campaigns from P20 and P28 respectively.
There’s just one race to enjoy in the JuniorGP™ class in the opening round, scheduled for 13:00 (UTC +1) on Sunday, so make sure you tune in!
In the ETC, another IATC race-winner, Kiandra Ramadhipa, seized qualifying by the proverbial horns with a scintillating performance despite the conditions, recording a 1:47.733 to claim P5 on tomorrow’s grid. His JTT teammate and current IATC rider Alfonsi Daquigan will have a more difficult time of it, starting from P19.
The ever-exciting ETC season gets underway with two races on Sunday, the first set for 11:00 (UTC +1) and the second for 14:00! Make sure you’re watching as the stars of the future take aim at their dreams.
